Ark Hotel - Dongmen - Taipei

The breakfast was decent and free coffee was provided throughout the day. the hotel was situated near a train station and had many restaurants in walking distance.

The room was cramped, with barely enough space for two people to move around comfortably. Bedding was not changed during our week-long stay.

Great location - just a stone's throw away from the Dongmen MRT station and the vibrant Yongkang Street with its variety of restaurants and boutiques. The convenience of having both the metro and the lively street right at the hotel's doorstep is unbeatable. The hotel is also close to other popular attractions, making it perfect for exploring the city.

The size of the rooms - they were a bit small for our liking. However, they were still comfortable and we spent most of our time out exploring the city anyway.

You can easily catch a train, as it's near two MRT stations, Yong Kang Street, and Dong Shan, which is a great plus. the neighbourhood is charming and bustling with many shops, restaurants, and cafes. the room is small but cozy, and the free laundry and dryer service was a great perk.

I recently stayed at Ark Hotel - Dongmen for a week during my visit to Taipei. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient, with the Dongmen MRT station just a stone's throw away. This made it easy for me to explore popular attractions like Taipei 101 and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The hotel was also surrounded by great places to eat and there were convenient stores nearby. The hotel had excellent WiFi connectivity, which was perfect for me as I needed to work remotely during my stay. One of the standout features of the hotel was the infinite supply of drinking water available at the warm-hot-cold water station in the reception area. This saved me from buying expensive bottled water and allowed me to refill my water bottles at any time. The comfortable bed, helpful and friendly staff, and spotless room also added to my enjoyable stay at the hotel.
